Intervention:An educational program which emphasised the symmetrical use of back muscles (Back to Balance)
Comparison:Control group
Population:Health care facility with high time lost injury rates. N=180.
Main outcomes:Psychological tests, cervical and lumbar paraspinal dynamic EMG evaluations and costs, incidence, and time lost injury rate for the 1 year of the study.=
Main results:At 1 year there was less pain and retained knowledge, and significantly improved symmetry of muscles. There was also a 72% decrease in the time lost injury rate.
